By downloading or using BurnMyBudget (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. What BurnMyBudget is
BurnMyBudget is a personal budgeting and money-tracking tool. It helps you track spending, plan around your pay cycle, and manage budgeting goals using information you enter manually. The App does not connect to your bank, move money, or provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
2. Informational use only
BurnMyBudget is provided for personal informational and organizational purposes only. It is a calculator and tracking tool. It is not a financial advisor, and the numbers and projections it displays are based solely on the information you enter. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. Always verify important figures against your actual bank and account statements.
3. Your data
All information you enter is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, access, or back up your data. You are responsible for your own device and the information stored on it. If you delete the App or reset your device, your data may be permanently lost. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Purchases, subscriptions, and trials
The App offers a free trial, optional auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and annual), and a one-time lifetime unlock. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms.
Auto-renewing subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device’s Settings under your Apple ID Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase with no recurring charge.
Free trial: if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected subscription begins and your Apple ID is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us, in accordance with Apple’s policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to reverse- engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the App or attempt to circumvent its purchase or access controls.
6. No warranty
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocket Logic Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any financial decisions, losses, or
outcomes arising from your use of the App. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
