BurnMyBudget is built around a simple idea: your financial information is yours, and it should stay that way. This policy explains — in plain language — what we do and don’t do with your data.

The short version

We don’t collect your data. We can’t see it. It never leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. BurnMyBudget does not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any of your personal or financial information. We do not operate servers that receive your data, and we have no way to view what you enter into the app.

Where your information lives

Everything you enter into BurnMyBudget — your balances, transactions, credit card details, bills, savings goals, settings, and any other information — is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded, synced to the cloud, or sent to us or any third party.

Because your data lives only on your device:
If you delete the app, your data is permanently erased.

If you get a new device or reset your current one, your in-app data does not transfer (it stays with the original device’s storage).

We cannot recover your data for you, because we never had it.

We do not use accounts or logins

BurnMyBudget does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or log in. We do not connect to your bank or any financial institution. You enter your information manually, and it stays on your device.

Purchases and subscriptions

BurnMyBudget offers a free trial, optional auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly and annual), and a one-time lifetime unlock. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, credit card number, or Apple ID. Any data related to your purchase is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Analytics and tracking

BurnMyBudget does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. We do not track you across other apps or websites. There is no advertising in the app.

Children’s privacy

BurnMyBudget is not directed at children under 13, and because we collect no data, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected in the app and on this page.
